Tension and Cluster headaches

Tension headaches

About 90% of the headaches that occur are tension headaches that are triggered by psychological factors. Tension headaches are also called muscle contraction headaches. Most of your skull is covered with a layer of muscle. When in tension, your muscle contracts abnormally, which can decrease the blood flow in your head and cause headache.

Cluster headaches

At one moment you may be having no headache and all of a sudden you may experience 1-6 incredibly painful headaches in a single day. Sometimes this situation can continue of days and months and then disappear again. Cluster headaches are the worst of all but are rare at the same time. Also, men are more prone to cluster headaches than women. The symptoms of cluster headaches are worse than all other headaches and migraines.
